Appearance

Tall and imposing, with harsh features that always seem to be judging you. On his right hand is a (terrible) broken heart tattoo. As a ghoul, he brings to mind the classic image of a demon, with imposing imperial horns that look blackened from flames and sharp, pointed ears. His skin is the colour of a pale lava stone, earthy hues of subdued grey and red. Long dark claws, a spaded tail, and eyes that resemble burning embers completes the picture. Regardless of form, he's always running hot, and being close to him might cause a person to feel like they're standing near a fireplace. It is not uncommon to see smoke curling out from him, either.

Personality

On stage, or in his role as a band ghoul, Alpha liked to joke around and play it up a bit. Particularly when Papa III took over and the band took on a less serious approach, he leaned into the teasing that happened on stage and teased the audience, too. Off stage, he doesn't let loose quite so easily. He considers himself something a guard dog to the Emeritus brothers and often utilizes his intimidating demeanor to put people in their place. He acts more professional around the humans of the ministry and relaxes only during his down time. He's fiercely loyal and dedicated to both his pack and his Papas, but he's also feisty and hotheaded. He's not impulsive, but he also thinks actions speak louder than words and that the fist is mightier than the pen.

History

Part One.
Alpha was summoned by Primo Emeritus as a personal bodyguard of sorts. Over time, Primo's two younger brothers came into the picture, and Alpha devoted himself to their service as well. He accompanied all three when leaving their abbey on business, and became a confidant for all of them. He also acted as eyes and ears for Primo around the ministry. His higher status (for a ghoul) allowed him access into more private sectors, and he always made sure his summoner was aware of what was said behind closed doors.

Part Two.
When the Ghost project was revived, Alpha took on the role as lead guitarist for the band, largely because it meant he could continue his watchfulness of Primo on the road. When the title of Papa passed to Secondo, Alpha followed, and continued on to play for the (then) youngest Emeritus, Terzo. The era of Terzo was not an easy one. Alpha allowed himself to soften to the young Emeritus, indulging him and allowing them to grow close, and it seemed as though things were going well. Terzo's success as Papa was undeniable, but it ruffled feathers back at headquarters. Unfortunately, the ghouls were not immune to this. Under accusations that they no longer played for the cause of turning people to the wonders of the Morningstar, but rather for their own glory and accolades, Alpha was banished back to the pits along with his bandmate and friend, Omega.

Part Three.
Freshly resummoned, Alpha has a decade of drama to catch up on.

In Character

Physical Affection.
Definitely not. This is received for Papas I, II, and III, and his OG packmates. Anyone else will have to wear him down before he lets any affection slip through.

Physical Violence.
Totally fine on my part. As a note, Alpha has inhuman strength (an account of the ghoul thing) and when he gets worked up, fires are known to start. Or he might just set one on purpose. But besides that, he WILL put up a fight, whether that's with fists or teeth or claws or all of the above, and he will do his best to make sure it hurts even if he loses.

Relationships.
Like physical affection, this is limited to close CR. It's going to take a bit of work to get him to a point where he feels like he can even entertain the idea with someone. And he's married to his work.

Abilities & Powers.
As mentioned, thanks to his infernal heritage, Alpha's quite strong. As a fire ghoul he has command over the fire element and is always running hot/steaming/smoking/etc. He can speak Italian thanks to his years with the Emeritus brothers, along with Infernal, Latin, and probably snippets of some other things he's picked up over the years.

Content Notes.
Alpha's canon naturally deals with subjects like Satanism (but the good kind!) and the occult. Based on his existing relationships, topics that are likely to come up with him are murder, dismemberment, verbal/mental abuse, and other potentially heavy subjects. This won't come up frivolously, though, since he doesn't want to air other people's laundry.
